If I could keep one last memory I would have to choose the memory of my family and me going to St.George Island. It was so fun. My dad's side of the family went-my grandparents, my aunt and uncle, my two cousins, and my family. It was an awesome week! We rode our bikes everywhere. We played on the beach almost everyday. One day, we drove to Panama City to go deep sea fishing. It was amazing. We caught lots of fish and had an exciting day. My cousin Marc caught the biggest fish of the day. It was a Red Snapper and was twenty-four inches long!!!!!
My uncle is a very talented artist. He is a sketch artist for the Hoover Police Department outside Birmingham, AL. He drew tattoos on our arms that looked really cool. On me, he drew a skull and crossbones with a bandanna and eye patch. On my cousin, Marc, he drew a skull and crossbones with flames coming out of the eyes. He used Sharpie Markers and so our tattoos lasted about two weeks. My sister and my cousin, Natalie, had a great time shopping with my Nana. On the beach we worked out with my Uncle Paul and he taught us a lot of work out moves. He used to be in the Navy.
The house we rented was three stories high with a balcony on the top of the roof. It had a private hot tub and pool. We stayed up until late hours of the night swimming and having a blast. Even my father who never gets in the pool got in and played with us.
A funny thing happened on the beach when my mother supposedly sprained her ankle. She made my Dad carry her all the way home from the beach. The next day, her ankle was miraculously healed. I think she was just faking the injury all along for attention.
This vacation took place during my fifth grade summer so I was reading "Where the Red Fern Grows". I finished the book one afternoon before dinner. I was so depressed and so sad after I read the book, I cried and was bummed out for the rest of the night. My mom knew I was going to be sad and tried to prepare me for the ending.
The trip with my family to St. George Island is my favorite memory because it reminds me of what family is about which is being all together and sharing good times. I would want to keep this memory so I would be reminded of who my family is and how much we love each other.

Lessons To Learn From
Mrs. Chapman is a great teacher. Her ideas about studying more than English are great. Our most recent study was on THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK. We learned about the Holocaust and the Jews.I think we learn a lot from Anne's character. Even though her future was in termoil, she still kept her cool.
Another reason I think Mrs.C makes us study the holocaust is to understand that killing, torturing, and hating people because of their religen or race is very wrong. If people think that there isn't racism in the United States they are very wrong.
Anne says that"She really thinks people are good at heart." That is a very optimistec way to think of someone who is out to demolish the Jewish race. Anne is a very humble person. She always thinks of the best and tries to find the best in everyone.
The Nazis were horrid people. They would walk up to Jews and shoot them down right there. These were very horrible times. this was one of the most horrible trajedies ever. If I were a Jew, even though it is wrong, I would want revenge. I know the Bible says not to seek revenge, but how can they not? They almost destoyed the race forever.
The last reason Mrs.Chapman makes us learn this is to learn from other peoples mistakes. That is why we learn about the past. We need to learn that descrimanation on a certain tyype of people because we don't like them is wrong. How can we do such a thing?

Help! Our country's in trouble!
Help!!! The U.S is in serious trouble. The North Koreans have just dropped an atomic bomb on us! How can we survive this terrible tragedy? What will we do? It’s my job to figure out what five occupations the United States will need to survive. There WERE millions of very important jobs in our country, but now unfortunately we only need the necessities to live. This is what I’ve come up with:
The 1st occupation I would say we need most is a strong President. The President is in my opinion the most important job in our country. Someone would have to lead our country though the crisis. Our country would not run without a smart leader.
The 2nd occupation I think we would need is emergency workers. They would have to clean up all the debris. Ambulance drivers, police officers, and firefighters would go under this category.
The 3rd job I think we would need is doctors. Doctors would have to help the injured, and heal the sick. They would have to give out medicine, also. We couldn’t survive without medicine treatments. Doctors are true lifesavers.
The 4th job we would need is ministers. There would be thousands and thousands of deaths and funerals. Ministers could help families get though this tragedy. They would help society a lot.
The final job we would need is humanitarian workers. They would pick up food imported from foreign countries and take them to cities. Without them we would run out of food.

Animals/People
If i was an animal I would be a horse. Horses are very caring. I care about people, especially the people I am close to. Horses are free-spirited. I think for myself and find a solution to every problem. They love to run and be in athletic events. I play lots of sports and love to compete.Horses are very loyal to their masters. I love and respect my parents very much. Horses are loved very much. I am loved very much from family and friends. Horses love their homes but love to be free to run as they please. I love to be at home but I like to go places on vacation and spend the night off.Horses are independent. They live in herds if they have a lot of horses but they can live by themselves. I try not to leave anyone out and be friends with everyone. I am not in a "click". I have one best friend and a lot of good friends. I think I am very similar to a horse.
If Mrs.Chapman was an animal she would be a bulldog. Bulldogs are scary and harsh at first but once you get to know him it is not so bad as you thought. Mrs.Chapman is the strictest teacher so she seems like she is the meanest and the harshest of all the teachers. As we all know that statement is not true. She is hard at the beginning until you get used to her style. Bulldogs seem like they don't change their minds easily. Mrs.Chapman believes in what she says and stands up for what she believes. Bulldogs are very smart. Mrs. Chapman is one of the smartest people I know. Bulldogs are very quiet and extremely calm. They are also very patent. Mrs.Chapman is all of these things especially patent. To be a teacher you have to be very calm and patent with kids because they might not understand what you are talking about. I think Mrs.Chapman would be a bulldog.
